How about a canvas hat, or a leather one?  A baseball cap, or one of those Greek fisherman's hats?  An old Army helmet?  A Brit Bobby's hat?  How about one of those Aussie jobs with the brim pinned up on one side.

Anything but a STRAW hat.

That's what you whip a sodbuster with, then you cut holes in it for his horses ears to go through.

Dang, I forget the name of the company that made it, but it's the same people who make the moccasins. I think it starts with an M.

But it was my "around the property" work hat for a while and has been rained on, sat on, crushed, and now I am beating Delmonico with it!

Large means it is larger than medium and smaller than extra-large. In Minnetonka brand.  

Measure the inside diameter and divide by pi.  It will give true size.
