I need to find a pattern for a Colt 1911 Semi-Automatic holster. If you have one, I am willing to buy.  Have any ideas where to buy?  I have been looking all over, but apparently not in the right places.  need to do it quickly.  Thanks for any help.

Packing Iron has a good photo of a late frontier (1915-1920) holster for the 1911 at page 132.  I made up my own pattern. it wasn't difficult.  As for style, you could adapt any frontier style that takes your fancy.  I'm thinking about a Texas Jockstrap style.  I have the Al Stohlman pattern book #40.  The patterns look good, and also provide tooling ideas.

For a factory offering, look at El Paso Saddlery's 1930 "Austin".
