??? My uberti .32 conversions shoot 10 in. high at 10yds. Is the bead pressed or screwed in ? Any info
on how to replace and where to get a taller bead would be appreciated. Thanks, Red

Pettifogger

It's pressed in.  Take a vice grip and remove the old one.  Go to the hobby store and buy a piece of brass rod.  Make a new front sight and use red loctite to hold it in.

Four-Eyed Buck

Make it taller than you think you need, that way you can file it down to get zeroed.......Buck 8)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

St. George

I'd try different bullet weights, before I did anything to the piece.

St. George's suggestion is good.  The lighter projectiles do shoot lower, but how can you get anything lighter than a .31 round ball?

The final answer will probably be a higher front sight, or a lower back sight.  Get a good load, with one of the lighter bullets, and go from there.

Thanks for info from all, Im kinda limited with the .32 s+w, just using my light .76 gr. reloads so theres
little recoil to raise impact. Thanks again Pettifogger for brass rod idea. Red
