Ok!  In my recent post "I just had to" I described how I luckily ran into the sister Eagle Scout Winchester to my current one two weeks ago.

So, the other day I finally finished paying off a 1941 Colt Woodsman Match Target Bullseye and had it delivered to my FFL.  The same FFL that got one two years ago and was going to sell it to me, but then decided it was to nice to let go.  So for two years I have been searching and finally found a nice one.  When it came, we opened the box together.  To our astonishment, it was within less than 50 numbers away from his in serial number.  Wow right.  Then yesterday happened.

I ordered a USFA Pre War with Tru Ivory grips and "A" Armory engraving.  It came in yesterday and it is absolutely fantastic.  While I am filling out the paper work, I notice in the case another nice USFA Premium.  Of course I had to take a look.  The serial number rings a bell.  Then I look at a Gunslinger next to it, and its serial rings a bell.  I write the numbers down and head for home.  Holy *#@&!!!!!  The premium is a consecutive number to mine, and the Gunslinger is a consecutive number to the two consecutive Gunslingers I already have.  I am dying to get back today.  I arrive and recheck the numbers, yep, consecutive numbers.  So I ask while I am at it, do you have USFA's and if you do what numbers do you have at your other store.  I get a call later that day, you guessed it, another Premium consecutive to mine.

So, three guns later, I now have three consecutive number Premiums and three consecutive number Gunslingers.  What are the odds of having these three instances occur within two weeks in anyones life.

That's worth beans, peanut butter, and tuna for six months.  ;D

Congratulations.  I think I'm envious.
