Ya gotta have an unsed this or that. Maybe some left over parts from a long forgotten project? How about a 44 Colt R&D cylinder or a botched barrel?

I'm itching to do something. I need a new project :P

How about a trade?

I have a section of horn/antler, a .45 colt cylinder from EMF for a Hartford Colt Clone, a pair of black grips off of a Colt Cowboy, a hammer for a Colt Clone, a ejector spring from an Uberti Cattleman, a trigger spring from an Uberti Cattleman, a main spring from an Uberti Cattleman, an ejector rod from an Uberti Cattleman, and 12 percussion nipples from a pair of Uberti Navies.  Any interest in any of these parts?  If so, then what and make an offer.  Otherwise I am going to try e-bay/gunbroker.

Hey HH,

Have you ever tried building one of these kit-guns?

Those derringers look pretty neat. Also, the Spiller & Burr Revolver.

I just can't get into the "kit" thing :-\
My shooting buddy is a master Flint lock maker and he'd make fun of me :P
Would like a REAL Spiller & Burr though...........

I will try to download pictures tonight of the parts.  I used to have a picture of the cylinder and hammer because I was going to trade them off to a guy for a abused Walker but the deal fell through.

HH, Yea... I found out shoulder holsters are not to my likeing also. Not to mention one for each side. I could use hammers, springs, screws, triggers, bolts etc for any of the 3. $60.00 worth.   Can't have enough spare parts. I have a loose rammer when latched. Was going to try a new latch on the end of the rammer, or do you know a guick fix for that problem? Or anybody? :)

Not for sale but here are some pictures of my conversion. ;)

Pettifogger

How much for the Colt Cowboy grips and do they have the screw?  I got a pair but the hole must be metric as none of the grip screws I have will work.

Tommy

I have a remington Conversion that has chambers bored as large as yours :'( Have you ever measured them with a plug gauge or taken a chamber cast of them? I am interested to know just how big they are bored.

Not to step on Pettifoggers toes, but did I buy the grips? At this point I'm not sure :P

No, the grips where not bought, only the clone parts, the mould, and the crimper.  The grips are currently on E-bay.  My seller name is Thomass281.  Right now they are $2.  They don't have a screw.  I was trying to see if they would work on anything other than a Cowboy, but they don't.  The closest thing they would fit on was a Blackhawk but it would have required fitting and drilling.  I also have some Starline .44 colt brass on Gunbroker under Tommy Tornado.

The General

I have a nice pair of Pewter custom grips for a Ruger Vaquero I would be interested in trading for some BP gear for my 58' Clone Remmy's in .44 caliber.  Powder horns, nipple wrench, a whole clone you're not using, whatever.  These will not fit the new model Vaquero.  They are pretty nice.

Howdy General!

I sent you a PM ;)

Man I have been hagglin' like crazy.....I just swapped a Colt Lightning for a real nice Roller with a Badger bbl in 45-90 and Shaver Soule sight! The Thunderer turned itself into an 1860 (Iron frame) in 44-40 with a 4th gen Cowboys and Indians short stroke and I bought a Henry trapper last week also :o

Then this just when I was trying to figger out what kinda grips to put on my Colt barreled Vaquero I built this weekend :o

I'm in HOG heaven, like a pig in slop 8)
