Rabbit Hunting Weather

Me and the little longrifle went out this morning. 
Saw where a bobcat had been hunting ahead of me...so didn't do much good.
Only saw one rabbit...it came home with me.



One pic of my stomping grounds. Time I got out of there the wind was really blowing it around.

She's a little .40 caliber flintlock Slim.

Yep...she's a terror on rabbits, squirrels and armadillo's.

Yep...alot of them along the river.
This is usually the time of year I hunt them cause they'll be out during the daylight hours foraging.
Haven't seen any yet this winter though.
This pic was taken earlier this year when I got this digital camera.
These 2 were shot with the Uberti 1861 Navy though.

Just curious, but how are armadillos prepared? I've heard of people eating them but i don't know in what form.

The ole computer has been down for the last 10 days...just now seeing your question MARifleman.
Me not being much at cooking...I put them in a slow cooker with mushroom soup. 
Now if you want some real fine sandwich material...pick the meat off the bones and let it set overnight in the frig after it's been cooked.
Taste like pork roast.
