And they are Beauts!  ;D  Action, trigger pull, fit are perfect.

Custom made fer me by Banjoman in .44-40 (Thanks, Gary!).  Turn around was fast enough to get in on the rebate.  I can't wait to get these babies out to the range. I got the Rodeos on purpose so I wouldn't feel any regret about subjecting them to CAS stress (unlike my Premium). But I have to say, the finish is perfect.  I'll get some photos up later.

I wonder if USFA would custom order Rodeo II's in .44-40?

Ask Banjoman, but I think it may be harder to get.  One reason I suspect I could get .44-40 in Rodeos, though, is because of the in-house finish.  The metal and build is the same in a Rodeo as a Premium. Since the Premium comes in .44-40, I think that all they had to do was put a Rodeo finish on the Premium .44-40 frames.  But as you know, the Rodeo II is stainless.  Big difference.

JD,
Actually, the Rodeo II is a satin nickel plated finish.
