Here is an unusual Remington I have never seen before.
Original revolver was re-barrelled and sighted for a shooter.
Ainsworth marked.

The round barrel is really beautiful and unique. Even more than that, I love the carved grip. Outstanding piece.

I'm pretty sure that barrel came from a rolling block pistol. They made them in 44 S&W and it would make a real easy installation. Sight look sright.....I've got one I took off somewhere (I rebarreled the Pistol in 16 1/2 inch carbine style, bent the tags and put a stock on it for a youth rifle). Now if I can find it :-\
