Might be worth fixin' up though, considerin' the price of fuel, everyone knows the Spaniards could get thousands of mile to the galleon. ;D

The ones that are at Corpus Christi have been there since 1992 .  They were built in Spain to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Columbus' sailing to the New World.  They are in dry dock at Corpus Christi and are in total disrepair.

Now that's a darn shame. :(

The Chincoteague pony pennin'. The folks took me there once when I was a kid. Used ta be a real big thing with the rich folks the next neighborhood over. They'd go 'n buy one.

Surprised it's still goin' on. Occasionally one'll drown 'n the peta types go bananas. Read somewhere they have volunteers ta help 'em when they get in distress. Ain't heard ah one drownin' in a long time 'n it'd been headlines if one had.

Can't remember a time when they didn't do it.

Commadore,
Have we ever boarded and looted inventoried 20+ pontoon boats at once before?  Looks like easy pickins duty fer this crew.  I believe we all have a particular friend we visit in other parts that would be mighty glad ta take care of yon horses once we have them safely inta port.  I believe if she'd seen this she'd a manned the cannon an there'd be no tax left ta collect from yon whitelegs ;)

LR. My G Granddad on Dad's side of the family ran a livery stable with horses and mules in Texhoma, Okla. They came out there in the Land Run of 1889. We always had horses when I was growing up.  I got into roping some in college but never had to the time to practice alot. Did some team ropin' a few years ago(healing, cause I'm left handed). I don't have horses anymore and don't rope much, other than the back yard when the weather is cool.

Well then maties, on me recent stocking adventure in the Dutch held isles, I ran across quite the bargain.  Feller speakin some kine a Spanish were pullin a cart filled ta the brim with Cuban ceegars.  Figgured I do us all a favor an trade some of the TP from the paper mill fer a crate.  It'll be a nice way ta relax an celebrate the takin of yon pontoon boats.  An we still got the corn cobbs, so it's a win-win.
