Need larger Bead on Baikal SxS

Can anyone offer any insight on changing out the front bead on a SxS ribbed Baikal?
What size bead should I order?
From Brownelle's I suppose?
Does it screw out, pull out, drill out???

I replaced mine with a #8 bead from Brownells...just tap out the existing hole and when I screwed the new bead in I put a drop of penetrating  (green) loctite on it...Did it over 18 months ago & it's still goin strong. I was having trouble shooting the gun high (I think the comb of the stock is too high for me to get down on the bead). The very large #8 allows me to place the top of the bead on the target and the gun now shoots properly to POA.
