Add me too. It's under reconstruction but Letters as a 30" Extra heavy 45-60 set trigger lyman front site no indication of finish so it will be case colored when done becasue I Like case color Other than true to letter.   I am also in need of all interior parts and side plates starting with recieiver and thats it I will send progress pictures. Mike

Hi from across the pond.
Please add me to the list. I have two original 76's one 45-60 and one 40-60 both shoot real good. Also have a number of other Winchesters. I will try and post pictures when I can find out where the coal goes in the computer.

Tombstone Wyatt

Just took delivery of a Uberti 1876 in 45-60 caliber. Gun is beautiful. As an owner of other Uberti rifles, I took it apart to see what the innards looked like. I was pleased  to find that it was exceptionally clean and free of and major machining marks/burrs/etc. Really well finished overall and a nice piece of walnut on the buttstock, with some tiger stripe. After dissasembly, I cleaned and lubed/greased everything and put it back together. Action is pretty smooth, but the trigger pull is kinda heavy. Gotta assemble some ammo and shoot her smooth.

pencil me in as well, just got my '76 from CDNN, short rifle, 45-60. I'm glad I took the risk after reading all the negatives about Chappys, mines great, and yes I've had  a 66, and a 73 Uberti, this baby is just as good and a heck of a lot cheaper! consider me a happy cowboy ;D............ Got a Smith ladder enroute from Brownells....

I thought I had joined this long ago, as a "buyer in waiting", but I don't see my name now.  Anyway, I now own a Uberti 1876 (Dixie Gun Works) 45-75, 28".  Will try to get a pic or two up in the next couple days, but add me now for sure, please.
