Grizzly,
Just sold our house, moved into an apartment, and bought a Uberti 1876 in 45-60.  It's a real pleasure to shoot.  Please put me on your roster.  I love that there's a site devoted to this firearm.

Guess it's time to stop lurking.  I have an Uberti 1876 Centennial that I am just starting to shoot.  Have been working on different loads.  Have shot it only once so far and enjoyed it, but need to lighten the springs a little and do the other things appropriate to the 76.  It was particularly tough to lever and has about an 11 pound trigger pull.  Have been working on the main spring, slowly but surely.  Just about there and will move on to the other three springs.  Have been smoothing the innards too.  It is beginning to feel like a well-oiled, if stiff, machine.

Mr. Adams,

I am in the process of purchasing a new Uberti 1876 in 45-75 WCF and if possible would like membership in the Winchester 1876 Forum!  This is a retirement gift that is about 2 years early but I ain't getting any younger!!  As soon as I have the rifle in hand will work on posting up pictures.  Many Thanks to all on this site, I think I have read most everything here in the hopes of someday having a 1876 replica, now looks like that is going to happen!!  Thanks again!! Pinto Beans.

Well Griz, suppose you'd best sign me up also. Cimarron '76 in .45-60. My hero, Wild Bill died afore these fine rifles came out, but I suspect he woulda had one if he woulda lived past Deadwood!!!
Regards
I remain, respectfully,
