Like everyone else who is gettin' new buckles, I had to come up with a new rig to use it on too.  So, I made a combination rig for my '52 Sharps conversion to .45-70, and my '58 Remington conversion to .45 Colt.  I made a 3 1/2" money belt with rounded ends to accent the curve of the oval buckle.  Now I just have to find the time to go use it!

It looks like a real nice rig, Will. I just wish it would get bigger when I click on it. It just stays postage stamp size. Is it my computater?

Nice use of your leather pard , I couldn't get the picture to enlarge, it's hard to see the detail, but it still looks great , I like a 3 1/2" money belt. in fact I'm working on one , I just need some leather for my bullit loops, The oval buckle looks right at home , and I agree with you, rounding the end of the belt put the finishing touch to it. ::) :o 8)  Thanks for sharing
I hope you get some time to get out there and do some shooting , and enjoy that new rig.  ??? :D

                                                          Take care Will  :D

I make it $27.00 each for oval white bronze buckles plus $7.00 S&H, or $61.00 for two buckles.  Is that right?  If so I'll have a MO in the mail tomorrow.

Hey Forty Rod,

Your math stands up to my reckonin'.

As for the postage stamp photo:  it took me four or five trys just to get that photo up, so I'm feelin' pretty happy it's even there.  It looked a whole lot better when it was huge, but I couldn't get it to go.  So, dinky is what I got.  Oh well.

Marshal Will Wingam

Howdy, pards. It has been pointed out to me a couple times in the last day that this thread is pushing the rules of CAS City regarding selling on the forums. Any of you that want to pick up buckles, please contact Will directly on that. My apologies on this and I assume the responsibility for this thread turning into anything that could be construed as a sales tool. Thanks for all your cooperation and understanding. Let's keep doing leatherwork and sharing with each other.

Many Thanks,

Marshal Will

Howdy Will  ;D

Much better , now we can see the detail in this new rig, and its top notch pard , a beautifull rig and I like the carving on the holster , the finish makes it look like an old 1800's holster and money belt, antique but well kept. It's great to have such Master Leather Crafters , as we have here in Cas City, The Leather Shop, it's an incentive for all of us to do better, Thanks for sharing Will Ghormley.  ;) :D ;D
