Well Pards,

Everything ready, got the Sharps 45/70, plenty of Ammo, duds, Iron Horse with oil change.  Of to S.D. for a Buffler hunt.
Nobody seems interested in this cept for me, so I'm off by myownself .

Keep ya posted on results and how the ranch was, but my good friend recommended the place highly so it hopefully will check out as promised.  Hides should be prime now.

Good luck to you. Sometimes them big ol' bufflers don't even know they're hit. A nice buffalo hide with the hair on can sure make a warm bedroll. Let's here the story of the hunt when you git back.

Now Pitspitr, that's just not fair.  Hunters in the UK shot off all their buffler long time ago.  Now they have to hunt thundering Angus and White Face.

Anyway PUK, from what I know about it, you are welcome to come here and shoot one of our bufflers.  They are raised privately and the hunts don't require a license or citizenship, just cash. .  I'd like to go shoot one of them myownself.  I know that Mockingbird did and he values the experience.

Not as pricy as you might think.  $1200 for a two year old bull, 1700 for a three year old, when you figure in the exchange rate of 2.00 to pound sterling, well its affordable.  Two year old has the best meat.  Dec. to Jan the hides are prime.  Big 15,000 acre ranch makes it a real great experience, not just a pasture shoot.  I'll fill you in on details on my return and photo's.
