The rear sight on my 1860 Henry seems stuck in the 400 yd position when in the up setting. Is there some trick to moving it up to the other range settings?

It should slide fairly easy. Try tapping on it with a brass, rubber, or plastic hammer.

My one single regret with the Uberti Henry rifles is the rear sight quality.

I have a Smith's Enterprise one on my 1886 and on my model 94 (38-55) and they have a set screw on the side.

It makes for much more reliable setting and they look FANTASTIC!!! (better sight picture)

I don't see if Smith makes these any more.
