I'll pass on tha burrito fer now.

Slim, keep trying I know the right job is out there looking for you!

Arcey, this whole Albert mess might be what finally drives out that screwball City Manager.  I think that the repercussions from this bone-headed decision will go on for quite a while.

Thanks for the coffee PR.

Slim, sorry to hear about your rejection letter.

Arcey, I can appreciate your frustration.  I'd be on a mad too.

I'm right proud of myself.  Last night I walked away from a deal.  There was a S&W 1917 .45acp.  It was sweet and I'd say 95%, but the grips were after market.  It was early production because it had the GHS in a circle, which was changed to the flaming bomb in April of 1918.  The price was fair, but the $$ he was offering for my trade fodder just did not bring the price down enough. :'(  I walked away. ;D  Twas the toughest thing for me to do as I suffer from SDA (Sensless Desire to Aquire).

Mornin' Fellas,

Made it home safe and sound. Everything looks to be as I left it here. (Dang I was really hopin someone would come in and clean the place  :D)

Wicked Wayze won a good door price at the NC shoot. A real nice 1873 Cattlemans. It beat us home so it was waiting at the shop when we flew in yesterday. Got all the paperwork filled out I will have to make room in the safe for it.  ;D

Y'all have a good day!

this'n my favorite song of Hanks

Hank Thompson - Oklahoma Hills Lyrics

Many months have come & gone, Since I wandered from my home In those Oklahoma hills where I was born.
Many a page of life has turned Many a lesson I have learned But I feel like in those hills I still belongWay down yonder in the Indian Nation I rode my pony on the reservation In those Oklahoma hills where I was born Way down yonder in the Indian Nation
A cowboy's life is my occupation In those Oklahoma hills where I was born. But as I sit here today, Many miles I am away From the place I rode my pony through the draw
Where the oak and blackjack trees Kiss the playful prairie breeze In those Oklahoma hills where I was born. Now as I turn life a page, To the land of the great Osage
In those Oklahoma hills where I was born. Where the black oil rolls & flows And the snow white cotton grows In those Oklahoma hills where I was born.

It's been so long since we had a real snow in WI in Nov. It's aways nice to have snow on the ground for Thanksgiving week, which is deer gun season.  ;)

I love the smell of Black Powder in the morning!

Get Andi up 'n movin', she's gottah be at whatever school she's werkin' at one. Get the flat out of the trunk.  Her boyfriend had marked the nail – only missed by about three inches.  Air it up 'n sprayed it with soap 'n water.  Showed her the punture.  Nothin' in the hole.  Rasp it out 'n grab the rubber cement – the tubes empty.

Send her to Advance 'cuz it's close.  I hate Advance BTW.  Drag my floor jack out the barn while I'm waitin'.

She gets back.  Goop everything up 'n plug it.  Spray it down, no bubbles. Air it up.  Notice the donut looks low.  Need ta check it.

Chock the rear end 'n jack it up.  She pulls the lugs with the silly l'il wrench what came with the car.  Takes the spare off herself.  I run it up some more 'n put the tire back on.  Run the lugs down with a real wrench.  She's puttin' the jig saw puzzle of a spare 'n stuff back in the trunk – before I had a chance to check the air. Oh well......

Drop the jack.

'Dad'

'Yeah?'

'The wheel cover goes on first.'

She's right.  Jack it back up, pull the lugs 'n put the wheel cover on.  Put the tools away. Grab the Orange Magic out the gun cart 'n clean up.

She's tryin' ta put the valve cap back on 'n seems ta be havin' some trouble. That's because she's got the cap off the tube of rubber cement instead of the valve cap.

'Andi, ya might wanna try this one.' It's sittin' on the tail gate of the truck right beside me.

Laugh at an ole man 'cuz he didn't know the wheel cover went on first 'n Karma'll bite ya in the butt e'er time ........

Had a good time.  Don't spend 'nuff time with her since she's grown.

OT's right, Stoney, we all have that to some degree. At least you're not alone. Maybe we need a support group (where we can get cheap ammo). ;D

Hamburgers cooked out on the grill, boy they were good.  fried taters on the side.  red onions, lettuce

my cousin, Dale came from Oklahoma, to visit and go deer hunting when the season opens saturday.  wish we could get one of them hogs that's been digging around in the pasture.

Cooked out on the grill.  As a small boy, I used to make my own BBQ chips by putting plain chips on the grill (not over the fire).  I swore they tasted better than BBQ Lays. ;D
