Custer is played by Steve Alexander who plays Custer on the History Channel and does the reenactment every year at the little Big Horn. He currently is restoring and living in Libbie Custer's family home in Monroe MI.

It is an annual event, I talked to the Grand Duke a couple of weeks ago on the phone.  His real name escapes me right now, nothing is set in stone yet, but I am going to try to attend the event next year.  I'll check out the pictures later when I have a chance.

Howdy All

If anyone is interested This will be going on this weekend at Hayes center. (Sept 26-28)  Bring your muzzle loaders and tepees and dress in your SASS clothes or dress in your period military uniforms and follow Custer around this weekend as we plan to do. It is a great laid back weekend and the living historians are fun to talk too and hang out with. Word is they are supposed to have a gatling gun this year also.
