Due to recent suppy shortages due to Yankee's cuttin' the supply lines, until further notice all Rebs are to follow Barney Fif's example: "One load in yer pocket, only load if really needed." ;D ;D ;D

Neely,

After seeing that picture, I can see why the soldiers in the front rank kept going if at all possible -- look at the size of that bayonet behind them!

Brings back memories of Ward Bond in "The Searchers". :o

As a neutertral in the late war of no sense and as a serious ;D hissytorian, I must inform you Rebs that while you all was yellin' them Yankees was shootin'.  As an unarmed ceeeevillian employee of the Yankees I have noticed that this might have had sumthin' to do with the final outcome of the conflict. ::)

Don't know fer sure, cause I'm always in the rear with the gear.

PS.  After the battle and most of the tourists are gone, any a you Rebs are welcome ta come fill a plate if there is any left after my employers (1st Nebraska Volunteer Veteran Calvary Company F) has been fed.  Sorry Yankee gold is better'n Jeff Davis TP any time. ;D ;D

No wonder you boys lost the war!   Thet failed to anchor their left flank.  Sure would be easy to roll up that flank with a well directed cavalry charge. :D

But the Yankee's dint have any cavalry.  They had trooper wannabes on horses.  It's a well known fact that the Confederate Cavalry could out ride them Yankee Cavalry Poopers....I mean Troopers.  Half them Yankee Troopers dint know what a horse was 'till they jined the Army!

Delmonico

But half dem Reb's din no what shoes was b fer they jined.
