SB and PR I would like to get back to that shoot too but with it being so close to Star City its hard to work out the time off.  Also make for a long day if they are still shootin' 8 stages.

If anyone runs across a Ruger Bearcat, used, in good shape for a good price please let me know.  Wife seems to be getting interested in shootin' and it would be a good one to start with.

Shot six stages last year and gonna shoot six this year.  I think that 8-stages was an idea that didn't work out in the August heat.

Back from the MD BP match.  Had problems with my shotgun. 

Only 28 shooters - 2 posses.

SASS forgot to advertize the match in the last three issues of the Chronicle.  They are not too happy with SASS right now...especially since all "SASS" matches are going to have to charge a $5/shooter fee which goes into the pockets of the Wild Bunch.  Maybe next year's match will not be SASS-affiliated.  Hmmmm.......

Truly unfortunate about the turnout.   Is SASS trying to implode?  Why would they charge a club just to say it is SASS affiliated?  That is just crazy.  May have to make sure I get there next year, specially if they are NOT affiliated.

Seems excessive to me...especially if it is per monthly match...

We go lucky with the rain, it poured in my part of chesapeake, but only sprinkled in west point.

I will finish my clean up today and then get ready for State and make sure my Sarah is good to go!

Just State Level and above that are SASS sanctioned.

I meant to say that but  guess my fingers were typing faster than my brain could keep up!

Do not worry about me and selling guns - I realized this weekend that I have 6 pairs of main match pistols (7 if i include my soon to be 44 russian caliber French St Etiennne 1873 pistols) and i am trying to finish up setting up my buckarette for cowboying...

I am selling a pair of my 44 Russian Pistols 1872 Open Top Pistols 5-1/2 inch round barrels

They have been worked over by LCR but are used.

A price for my fellow VA F&B posse members is 725.00 for the pair.

I am also considering selling my second set of 38 spl converted cap and ball guns with the old style R&D conversion cylinders.

They have R&D cylinders (the ones without a loading gate), barrels lined to shoot 38spl ammo and the barrels cut down to 5-1/2 inch.

Not sure on price of those just yet...but if interested you can make me an offer.

I can not shoot this weekend but will bring them to Va State with me...

Every time I look at the forecast for next weekend it changes.  I think it is safe to say we are likely to see some rain at the range.
