LR don't think the 8 gauge will fit.  Dang now ya got me wondering if the 10 is too small. 

Big Burtha is home in the gun cabinet.  She is Spanish made and has double triggers.  She is one heavy little lady.  I have a feeling she will roar when I can get her some loads.  Unfortunately Nate has been ill this week and so did not get the shells yet.  Hope to have them before the West Point match but we will have to see.

Got in contact with Slim and he told me that load was 132 gn FF and 132 gns 7-1/2 shot.  I think I can make that fit into a 2-7/8" brass shell.  I can hear the BOOOOOOOM, see the Smoke, feel the Fire and sense the Stink now.

Sorry I have not been on - we were pretty busy with the recent case involving a fellow Coastie who perished this week.

It is hard whenever we lose anyone we are trying to save, but even harder when it is one of your own.

I remember when i broke both legs I was on some very good drugs....can't really remember a few weeks back then other than being stuck in bed and wheel chair and being completely blotto....

Got some kind of cold bug...hoping I kick it soon...need to shoot saturday!

Oxycodone. What I had in the horsepistol 'n at home when I escaped. Got off those things as soon as I could. Won't say what I did with the ones I didn't swallow. Will say there's happy fish 'n water moccasins at Trashmore.

Percocet didn't help none when I crushed a few toes. Folks in Vice 'n Narcotics told me some people will kill for it.

Vicodin don't help much on pinched nerves.

Back in the good ole days I got Demerol when a wisdom tooth blew up. That was some good stuff.

The good docs at the ER gave me some sort of synthetic narcotic when I had my kidney stones.  It made me feel really weird until it knocked me out and when I woke up I still felt icky.  Can't remember the name until I hear it, but I have been offered it since and refused it.  Demerol does work wonders, especially with migraines.  Oxycodone is highly addictive and a real good seller amongst the druggies.  They will pay good money for it.  I just can't see why people like taking narcs when all they do is knock you out.  They gave me that Xanax stuff for my MRI 'cause I'm clautrophobic and it made me real goofy (goofier MM would say).  Went to sleep shortly thereafter and slept through the whole procedure.  Don't see what people get out of that either.  Guess I suck as a druggie. 

Well, I gotta think about getting ready for work.  We were really busy last night - warrant sweep last night and tonight too.  They all complained about how long they were at the jail.  Bitch mode kicked in a few times and I would tell them that they wouldn't be there if they hadn't broken the law.  Or "Funny, I managed to stay out of jails and the backs of police cars for 40 some odd years."  They didn't want my editorial comments.
