We were able to set up the range yesterday and MM has written a great match. Our new host,Dick Weis, is a fantastic person and is thinking about how we can start putting together storefronts. It will be a little hot today but hopefully everyone will have a YEEEEEE HAAAAAAA good time.

For those of you who were unable to make it to the Pungo Posse match yesterday you missed a great time for the first match at our new location. We had quite a few visitors from the shotgun world coming down to see what all the noise was about. Most left with a smile on their faces.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Lucky Irish Tom got the first kill at the new range. First stage on a rifle target!!!!!!

<and the crowds said YEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAA>

I was amazed at the turnout we had. What was nice was the spectators I talked with said they want to come out and try their hand at this Cowboy thing. That would be real nice to start adding to the ranks of Cowboy Shooters.

I'm back from the MD Blackpowder Shootout in Thurmont, MD.
I didn't win anything but finished the 8-stage match with only two misses.

Frio Canyon Ranger won his catagory - DUEIST (not FCD). I think he was the only one in that catagory!

Hooser was a no-show. I hope he is OK.

The weather was waaaay cooler than last year which made the 8 stages easy to do....still the humidity sucked....only got a few sprinkles from the sky - no downpours.

There was a moment of silence for Tensleep after the safety meeting.

How was the shoot at Mattaponi? I hope the weather held out and the 21-gun salute for 10ZZZ was a success. Sorry I missed it.

Glad they did that for Tenzzzz

We had a great match if a bit humid. I was shooting great for me but had brain fade on stage 5 and gun got gunked up and man did it kill me ( i think it was like 134 second stage!!0).

But i had fun and made copious amounts of smoke, fire, boom and stank - with some of my bestest of friends!:) And that is the bestest part!

Just think TT, once that shoulder/rotator cuff is good to go - you'll get to shoot a plenty.

I finally got around to taking my brass out of my bottle from Mattaponi yesterday and got them all dry but left them out last night.

What would happen - you betcha an early morning shower!:)

I have resized and deprimed another 300 shells, going to do more and start reloading - I have a bunch of empty 38 boxes from not reloading since April.

Shells are drying...again, dog got her walk, kiddos watching Thomas the Train shows and coffee is up.
