MM - and SB - the funny thing is I started doing my wahooooooo when i was on ship as a division officer and then department head.

I was the senior watch officer and in charge of the deck force and boarding parties.  Both of my CO's were very hard individuals but if you knew your stuff and showed it they left you be.

I was left be and would come up to the bridge and wahoooooooo to get people to chill out/calm down and get back to doing their jobs instead of being on pins and needles.

The chiefs thought I was a little goofy but they respected it because it worked (not to mention busting but to get people their schools and such either).

Anyway - doesn't hurt that I like to hoop and holler either!!

I couldn't help - there was this GSG-5 calling out to me 

A 22lr MP-5 - it is sweet!!!

I can't shoot it for about 2-3 weeks but - just could not help myself.

The german company making it did a great job - making a full size, close to same weight copy of the 9mm MP-5.

I'll bring it to the next cowboy shoot for some fun afterwards or during lunch!!

The dr's got it all and i am in their books to be looked at every 6 months.

I like it.

Actually I have two Berthier Carbines - one pre - 1900 configuration and one post WW-I configuration.

They were both rebarreled after WWII to accept the hotter post WWI ammo and shooting 8mm Lebel machine gun ammo.

Interestingly the french relized in WWI that have two types of 8mm Lebel ammo was not a good idea - seems they had some troppers KIA due to shooting machine gun 8mm lebel ammo in their rifles and the rifles blowing up.

A collector would love a pre WWI style Berthier with no "N" marking - me I like to shoot too much to deal with the marking not being there.

Anyway - plan to take pics of my little 22lr MP-5 - I am salivating to shoot it.

Don't worry LR - it will accompany me to a couple shoots - too fun not to.

I tried doing some reloading last night (stitches still in) not a good idea - the motion on my back was not good.

I am sure once stitches are out it will feel awkward for awhile  and I will get over it but while they are still in - don't like the sensation of skin pulling against the stitches.
