Howdy pards - I will be at either West Point on the 26th or Pepper Mill on the 27th - still needing to do some last minute schedule adjusting with wife and her family as they come back from the Kentucky/Alabama whirlwind tour.  I get to go on Kentucky part but have to be back to work early am on the 22nd.

Looking forward to seeing ya'll

MM - you think people will be ok if I shoot my 1873 French pistols for no score - I will be shooting them single action but they are single/double action.  Arcey gave me the ok for Wakefield (as long as they shot for no score).  Should I email Bob directly?  No biggee either way.

Per Wikipedia:

Hawaiian Paniolo
The Hawaiian cowboy, the paniolo, is also a direct descendant of the vaquero of California and Mexico. Experts in Hawaiian etymology believe "Paniolo" is a Hawaiianized pronunciation of español. (The Hawaiian language has no /s/ sound, and all syllables and words must end in a vowel.) Paniolo, like cowboys on the mainland of North America, learned their skills from Mexican vaqueros.

Need a little help from my Va FB Posse.  I picked up Anne Lee today and she is looking good.  ;D   But that is no surprise as LCR always does great work.   :)  While I was at the gun shop I saw a cousin to Anne.  A Stevens Model 311E SxS 12 gauge internal hammers.  Action is tight, bores are clean and the wood looks good.  I am guessing the barrels are 26 or 28 in.  They want $275.  What I need to know is, is that a reasonable price?  Sounds reasonable and it would be nice to have another backup.

Thanks for feedback pards.  One thing I do need to look at a little closer is the firing pins.  Being pretty ignorant about shotguns, what is the best way to check the firing pins; aside from shooting a couple of rounds?  Is that likely to be a problem as long as they don't look obviously broken?  I feel pretty confident looking over a revolver or pistol or rifle but not so much a shotgun.  Seems kinda funny as I think there are probably fewer moving parts.  Anyway your help here would be appreciated again.
