Ughhhh - too much rain and potential for T-storms. Sarah and I, will be staying indoors today.

Might get some bench time in reloading after church and daddy duties.

Biggest bummer is this day is the christmas dinner match with sinner and gifts with cowboy family after shooting - Sarah is bummed.

To all my VA cowboy pards and pardettes. Looks like we are getting another tour in the Tidewater, Va area.

In my upcoming job I will be filling for of a staff officer role. I hope that means more shooting with ya'll and the chance for my shooting pardette Cardinal Wind to grow up with her shooting family before our eyes.

While, Cardinal Wind and I did not get cowboy stuff for Christmas we did score a few things around christmas.

I found another set of pink grips for her 2nd pistol. Her rifle was successfully cut down and tested for fit (she now just needs to get used to holding it up and firing it). After realizing she does not have a heavy cowgirl coat I found some nice indian print fleece throws for her as well. If anyone sees a passable cowgirl coat (size M/10-12 kids) anywhere for 50.00 or less - pick it up and i will gladly repay you for it.

This weekend, we are planning on going to the gun show in chantilly, if we kick the stomach crud we have endured for last 36 hrs, to get our ears set-up for those fitted hearing protection foamies and maybe look around for a youth shotgun for her.

I have been able to take advantage of mild evenings in the garage and loaded up 500 rds of 38spl 140 grain pistol ammo (I may switch to this bullet, molded by Springfield Slim, for every 38spl gun - since the 158 grain snakebite bullet does not work with my 38spl pistols due to it's length) and reloaded 40 rounds of black powder shotgun ammo (10 & 12 gauge). WW - I have your shell reloaded and plan on using it during next shoot, Jan 5th, to fire fit it back to 2-3/4.

No ear plugs unfortunately - but will continue to look at shows as we can.

I did pick up 3 bottles of spray balistol, one 1,000 ct box of small pistol primers, and one 1,000 ct box of the new remington pistol caps.

I usually shell out about 60.00 for the 1,000ct box of caps.

Montana bought some kit from Cabelas for making her own formed earplugs. If I recall the kit was under $20.

I picked up enough W231 to keep my hunger at bay for a while. some custom 12ga ammo for Hog hunting.
I refrained from loading up my credit card.

Sod Buster will have to tell about his purchase

We enjoyed a good lunch at Famous Daves afterwards.

The wind made the air aweful cold yesterday and I worked today, so no range time this weekend. At least Arcey won't accuse me of gaming
