I just decided we needed a cannon fur Sussex.

If I kin git it, I think l'll need a little help from my friends gittin' the parts fur loading it.  I figure about a lb of powder per match autta do it.   ;D :o ::)

I'll donate a can of 1F fer her.  That slow burning powder should give off some flames.  :o

Ok boys and girls here is the story.  I have my name on a 10 gauge sxs pending getting a local FFL to receive it.  ;D
YEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I will be contacting SSS and see if Dirty Dick can receive it or the backup option is the Ivor gun shop.  Now all I need is to get some ammo and figure out where to get the parts necessary to make some dirty one!!!!!!

Not sure when I will be able to get it but will a little luck we can get everyone's attention for the safety meeting in Nov with the cannon.

Bring on any star or knock down !!!!!!!!!!   :o :o :o

Loaded just right on a stage starting with shotgun we might be able to take out the knockdowns and all the other targets as well, sure would make it easier to achieve a dirty match.  ::)

There won't be any stages with the shotgun on MY star, that thing cost me too much to get destroyed by the mighty "10", now the one at KC's, that's a different story. ;D

Will, I have found reloading components for the mighty ten.

However it is with using paper and plastic shells - mostly Federal Hulls - which would need to be trimmed.

The only 10 guage brass shells that are available are the Rocky Mountain ones - which are quite expensive - 78.00 for 10!.

Although you can personalize your shells which would be pretty cool.

Lincoln County has mighty ten shells from them for his 10 guage lever action 1901 Winchester and says that they are much beefier than the magtechs and stand the test of time.

Slim takes on two stars with the Mighty Ten. Ten plates cleared with six shells. From TiB a few years back.

Honorary Life Member of the Pungo Posse. Badge #1. An honor bestowed by the posse. Couldn't be more proud or humbled.

All I did was name it 'n get it started. The posse made it great. A debt I can never repay. Thank you, mi amigos.

PR I had a good conversation with Nate when I arranged for shipment of the "10".  Although they are a bit costly to begin with, the brass shells will last for a loooooooonnnnnnggggggg time and I can load with the equipment I have now.  The plastic hulls will burn out, according to Nate after three or four uses and I would need to get a loader.

Arcey I have got to meet Slim.  We can raise the roof together with the "10"s.

Will roger that - the 10 guage cases will last much longer and are quite hefty compared to our magtechs.

Plus you can get them stamped on the rim with whatever you want.

I am still willing to help buy the innards and shells - have your ordered already?

Well this weekend has been a no shooting family weekend for me but  I found out that I am watching my mom inlaws 10-15 November.

Wife and Mom Inlaw asked me if I was ok with staying home and take care of dogs so they can see her mom in Ohio with the kids and my wife sister and her kiddo.

I must be doing something right - its all that clean BP living!:)

So Yehawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, Wahooooooooooooooooo that means two cowboy shooting days.

Hopefully a DTP day on the 13th and a Sussex/Pungo Posse day on the 14th!  Heck MM I can even come back to Sussex after shooting DTP and help set-up for sunday!

I am going to take advantage of having house to self and reprime a bunch of cases at night too with my hand primer while watching war movies and westerns - wahoooooooooooooooooooooooo!
