Yes Bernold at GAD knows his stuff and especially for the off the wall BP ammo his prices can not be beat.

He will also sell bullets and brass and will reload the spent cases.

Couldn't find my VF&BP badge. Went feelin' nekkid  ta Smoke on the Mattypony without it. Wore it proud at Roundup.

Found it in the closet still pinned to the shirt I wore ta the last Pungo shoot. I done washed it. Looks real nice 'n it's back home in it's l'il Crown Royal bag. Value that'n more than my SASS badge.

I am planning to do Md Free State BP shoot in August and out State shoot in early fall.

LR - TT means BPGF. 

I saw the posts on the other wire - for BPGF being used at Mason Dixon.

I found the Dies for the 45-75 online two sets are in the 40-50.00 range and then there are a couple sets that are 100.00 plus.

After my next payday, I will order the dies and 50-100 rounds from GAD.

Then In July I will order some bullets and brass (may not order brass if I order 100 rounds from GAD).

I did find a set of 45-75 - CH4D dies on Gunbroker - used for just over 100.00

Not bad price for CH4D dies - but found the three die sets from Lyman and Lee at much much less than that brand spanking new.

I am going to do much more reading on the round before I settle on the dies and after comparing GAD prices for actual ammo with new brass - I may just go ahead and get 100 rounds of loaded BP from him and then reload the cases.  For 150.00 plus shipping/taxes I can get 100 loaded BP rounds from Bernold at GAD.

A box of 20 empty ready to go shells from various sources goes from 39.00 to 58.00 for 20...

I've been waiting since March for some 54cal paper patch bullets for my 1863 Spencer Carbine.  I gotta find another source.
