On the way in to work was listening to Nitty Gritty Dirt Bands version of
"Mr. Bojangles", that was kinda sad song, but sounds nice...
everytime I hear it though I see Sammy Davis Jr dancing to it...

was bringin back some memories...

raining hard as can be here today, sposed to get 10-12 inches this week..(we don't usually get that in a year here...)

I know it ain't nothing like cold you folks get back there, but, put the cold and the wet together and it takes me about a full minute to straighten up before I can walk...and to think I used to jump outta bed and start runnin' (and no Top, that wasn't when her husband was comin thru the front door......)

I work as an electrician for a college, and if the lights are not on or need to be replaced well it is sort of like a plumber you cannot do it unless you are under the sink.

Like the time I decided to cut the end off'n an extension cord, but forgot to UNPLUG the dang thing....still have a metal blister on my Buck.

Glad you gents are out of the weather and dry.

The arthritis in my left hand is primarily caused (I think) by that 250V capacitor discharging up my hand and out my elbow. Felt the tingle full time for weeks and for years later, I could touch a part of my elbow and send the tingle into my hand.

Could have been worse... a friend of mine caught that same cap in another machine and was thrown across the room and into a wall.

Been there and done that still have the bruise and burns, but the learning experience stays with you.  As I tell my people the only time you are not making mistakes is when you are not doing anything.  So we need to keep making new mistakes.
