That's funny to me. What was Rock N Roll is now considered Country.

Charlie Pride was the Man in Black.

Johnny Cash usta' be Rock n Roll.

Wow Del.  I guess droppin the Four Aces an pickin up the Commets was a good move on his part.  Not that yer music was bad, but it sure weren't the birth of rock an roll.

Many consider this 1947 song the first Rock and Roll some, has all the form.  Got the man into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  George Throughgood did a cover of it in the 1980's.

And yes I like Bill and the Comets, but there was a few before him of the style.  He just got the name layed on his song from 53.

AH!  Hank the Father, always good music!

I hope you removed yer hat. ;)

Far as I know there are only 3 in both the Country Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll, Elvis Johnny Cash and Hank the Father.

Go to You-tube and look at some of Hank's film clips and tell me Elvis did coppy some of his moves. ;)
