That song was the "Eagles" first hit, they recorded it in 1972.

I never liked the Eagels.  I liked Joe Walsh and even he refused ta go ta the big reunion at the Y2K party.  I laughed perty good when I saw The Big Labowski an all The Dude cared about while he was gettin the snot knocked outta him was that the driver wouldn't change the radio station...it was playin the Eagels.

I'm not a huge Eagles fan, but I do like "Take it Easy" and "Hotel California".

George was a purty fair picker in his own right. I am a big fair of guitar solos or leads.  Got hooked on guitar music listening to Dwayne Eddy, Dick Dale, The Ventures, Safaris, and Chantays in the early 60s.

Duane Eddies big hit was a result of him changin a few notes in When the Saints Go Marching.  I used ta listen ta a lot of that stuff.  Remember one called Telestar er somethin...have ta go look it up.

ole George has been one of ma favroite's since them first songs came out.  I was goin through a divorce when I first remember hearin him in about 1985 I think.   

and ya know, I don't hardlly remember a bad song along the way.

I remember listening to his first  song, "Unwound" in about 84. I had bought a new GMC truck about that time. It had one of them new fancy radios with an AM/FM radio with a cassette player.
