Roy and Dale made an appearance at End of Trail shortly before his death.  So I got a chance to see them then.  I have possed  with Dusty a couple of times at EOT and found him to be a very nice down to earth person.  His band used to be the featured attraction at the Saturday night dance at EOT.

I have never had the opportunity to visit the Mix Museum in Dewey.  Long before I got into shooting and especially Cowboy shooting (I don't think Harper and Boyd had even started SASS at the time) I did get the chance to visit the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City
Iffin' I did have some Mix memorabilia I sure wouldn't unload it to pay for a water heater.  There always is the stove and a pot of water!  ::) ;D

My wife's cousin, George Williams as inducted at the Museum as a member of the 2008 Rodeo Hall of Fame. We didn't know about until after it was over with. It was neat to know that one on the kinfolk is a member of the HOF.
