A favorite Fary Tale
Once upon a time
There was a very handsome, very lonely young cowhand who had just finished a long cattle drive to one of the well known cowtowns of the old west. It just happened to be that the day was Sunday and the soloon was being used for Sunday worship ( ther being no church building in the area).
The young man, having nothing better to do decided to attend the service. During the singing of a hymn he happened to notice a very pretty young woman about four seats down from where he was seated.
After services he attempted to introduce himself to her but she was no where to be found.
The next day he inquired about her at the general store and learned that she was the schoolteacher and had come from Philadelphia this was her first teaching job.
Well it took almost no time at all for the young man to find a job at the town resturant and become a regular citizen of the town.
After which he began courting the schoolmarm. They courted for a long time--- eighteen months, before he mustered up the courage to ask for her hand.
Well, to shorten a long story; she refused him!
And the young cowhand lived happily ever after, going to the town frolics, hunting, fishing, and drinking as much beer as he wanted when he wanted!
The End
