Well out here in Dogpatch, the big red K is all we got.  The Sears is a tiny building with a few appliances in it and a catalog.  Gotta go 30 miles fer a Target an 60 for a Wallyworld.

Got 3 Wally's and 5 Targets, that's enough, add a couple Home Depots and Menards and it gets to much, they even added some place called Lowe's a year or so back.  Figger it's another one of the "help don't know poop" places.  Got to Menardss maybe once a year, Home Depot, once was enough. Like my local owned hardware stores which we have 7-8 around town, can't remember, they've added a couple more the last couple years.

I always enjoy Gene's renditions! Yep, Lowe's is one of those "Home Improvement" places.

Got no Home Depot er OSH er Lowes either.  All privately owned stuff.  There is a True Value franchise an a Ace franchise but they are small little places.  Our best hardware store is totaly indipendant and was started by an old geezer that lives right up the road from me as a lumber yard.  We do have a Meeks but it don't count fer much in service, price or selection.

Our Home Depot seems to have most stuff we need, however if I need something fast, I visit our local ACE hardware.

TLD,  I forgot to tell ya that I got Jackie one of them craftsman electric hammers,  she  has been using it on everything she can  and it really works good on most everything.   it's really good in the tight places we have around the curtains, where you have to reach up in the curtains and nail something.

she really likes it.

Jackie has set hers up in the shop so it has it's own plug in for the charger,  she has it on the charger now,  she never has run it down,  it seems to have pretty good power.

With Sue in couch arrest from her knee surgery, I get to do all the cooking, not just the turkey on the grill.  So I started prepping the mashed tater, green bean casserole, stuffing tonight.  Once I get the turkey on the grill, I can put the other stuff together.  Our friend is doing yams, as I hate yams!  Sue made the pumpkin pies Monday before her surgery.  So I think we're all set for tomorrow.

Moose and I took a self guided tour of that little field the took off from. The CAF always reenacts the Pearl Harbor attack with a P40 chasing a Zeke and the B17 trying to land with only one gear down.
