Man, that Highwayman song is awesome!  I love that song!  Never thought to try and find it on youtube!

the Highwayman is a group ever group wishes they were in country music.  Only Alabama and Brooks and Dunn come close.

although, I gotta say, right now, for me anyways.  I love Big N Rich.  this song is one of the few that helps me keep on keepin on when things get really bad.

yeah, I cry, and I mean cry every time I hear it.
my bike, my car, everything I ever own, somewhere on it will say:
"and the orders a tall one, he swallows it down with his tears."

"On behalf of a grateful nation, your son died a hero."
RIP my Magnificent Seven
put it plainly, not a one of them listened to my advice to not be a hero, and not a one of them got less than a star.

Pop, that song caught ma attention when I was just a boy.  The original album it was on is "The Pressure is On"  Bought it with ma allowance, the last song on it is called "The Ballad of Hank Williams".  I've still got it layin around somewhere.

Back in the 80s, Moose and I went to Billy Bob's and to concerts a lot. We went to BB's so much that the bartender would hand me my brand of beer at the Bar without ordering it. I went over there after work at night sometimes too. I don't drink that much anymore. I drink at home mostly now. We saw just about every country act that toured back then. Mom and Dad took me to Amarillo to see Hank the Father in 1951. I was about 5 but I don't remember it. I've always been a Willie fan.

Ok, ok, ok, ok.

The Cash dude was fantastic, wow. But if the fool runnin' the late night talk show uses 'Some Velvet Mornin'' many more times I'm gonna put twelve in the stereo. Then maybe put a fresh mag in.  That damned noise is like nails onna blackboard.

Just shut it off 'til it's gone. The Glock is as close as the remote is.

Arcey, That sounds like a waste of good ammo and wear and tear on the Glock.

Maybe so, Tex. On second thought, the 34 with plinkin' reloads in it. That'd be eighteen. Then that would be a waste of primers. Thinkin' it might best if I go ta the barn 'n bring the splittin' maul in. I'm afraid I'm gonna wear the remote out, gottah do sumthin'.

With the problem of being able to find primers, the maul might be your best bet.

Moose and I went to Nashville aback in 1982. We went out to Johnny's house and saw the Cadillac. It's a strange lookin' vehicle. I wonder what happened to it after Johnny and June passed away.

As you know I don't know more, but although I won't use words as harsh as Arcey, as far as whiskey it was low on my list when I did.  Prefered George Dicikel or Makers Mark myself myself.  Always though scotch had a bit of flavor of rotting plants in a swamp. ;D

But to each his own. ;)
