Frenchie
The image was taken a the 120th. Gettysburg , the photographer used the same process as the originals.
This process used mercury, and other dangerous compounds. About a year later this same photographer , had passed away, poisoned by his job and love of the hobby.
FCK ..you point out the "Napoleon" holster... That pistol is the original 1860 Army, I bought at this very event, all matching numbers about 95% blue & case hardening in working condition.
I still have it , though in 25-26 years it has appreciated in value, well beyond the purchase price.
I still have my Emerson & Silver 1860 Saber ( seen in the photo ) and my side arm ( a 2nd Gen. 1860 Army ) I still use today with ivory grips and an R&D Cylinder.
The eagle belt plate is an original and still on that same belt.
The Sharps is a Garrett , a excellent copy w/ an original lock plate.
Jeff O'Donnell of the Quartermasters Shop made the Shell Jacket.
The 120th. Gettysburg was a huge event, largest to that date ever held over 4000 reenactors.
We had attended the 118th. but it was less than 1/2 that size, and the little town was swamped.
It was the precursor, to the huge events to follow.
Many , many great memories
