This ought to give the little kids nightmares......!!
This is a tintype I had made at the NCOWS National shoot this past weekend, Bob Hartsaw is the photographer....from Madison Indiana. His tintypes are sharp and in focus..... what a face!!

In the photo is my new Hickok (Hikok) hat from River Junction that I turned into the Texas Ranger hat that we've posted here so many times, complete with brain tanned buckskin hat strings. And, that is my just completed Richards type 1, that I finished just in time for this shoot and it functioned flawlessly.

That photo is a true test of: Is that 18XX or is it not.

That is outstanding when compared to original poses. The gun even photographs backwards like the originals photos...sometimes

I thought that was a mirror image!
I just couldn't see OCB putting the ejector on the wrong side of the pistola.....

Tintypes are always reverse. That is the way that they work. Does make you shift gears when you are looking at one!
