Howdy DD......I got your Pearl Lube II yesterday, and I loaded 20 390gr. Big Lube w/ Pearl Lube II .45/70, and 20 390gr. Big Lube w/ my lube 50/50 (beeswax/Mobil Oil 1). I went to the range today, at 100 yards I shoot 20 rounds w/ my lube at a 9" plate and hit it 9 times. I shoot at 100 yards at a 9" plate with your Pearl Lube and hit it 12 times, I stop shootin at 14th round. So much for my lube. Dick, your my main supplyer for bullet lube.................that is, if ya don't mine

Thanks Anvil Dave,

Guns get addicted to Pearl Lube II.  It leaves a teflon like coating that cleans up easy but won't allow fouling to hang on.  Just like Pearl Lube original, PL-II keeps the fouling soft.  Big Lube™ bullets haul so much of it that the muzzle remains wet.  But, as you shoot the "secret" ingredient forms a coating on the barrel steel that's slick as snot.  Bore seal improves and accuracy gets as good as the gun can deliver.  One of the things that make PL-II work the way it does is the vastly different melting temperatures of the ingredients.  One of 'em is hard to melt in boiling water.  The trick to making a good bullet lube with the stuff in PL-II is getting it to alloy and not separate.

Cleanup with moosemilk and a boresnake leaves the bore very clean quick and easy.

Here's to clean accurate shooting with the dark powder. :)
