My first Henry circa 1981 was civilian carbine ... at the time that's all you could get and in 44/40.
I added the swivel & front staple loop I bought from Dixie Gun Works.
Use the heck out of it reenacting wore the blue off the area just ahead of the reciever turned a nice pleasing brown.
Still miss that gun, though I see it from time to time, still shooting great too.

I know Bootsie (Germany) has Blued Steel Frame so there is at least one for the list.... I have not seen one so far in the US though.

Henry Carbine or Trapper?
I have a Henry (44-40) which is referred as a Trapper model (18-1/2 barrel). For me I would think this as being a Carbine. The reason for this is that Winchester made Trappers models with 16 inch barrels and the Carbines were usually 18 – 20 in barrels. Also in reality no 'Trappers' were ever made by Henry.
Just my opinion

It was a 22" carbine just two 2" shorter
It was one of the early Navy Arms paid $350 new... $15 to ship and $15 to the FFL.
when it arrived it had Allen Arms stamped on it.
At the time ,I had just two choices in cal. 44/40 or 44 Rimfire (and they were out of RF )

Well I guess I was too late to get included in the poll, but I have two of the "iron frames" case hardened guns, on in .45 that I took in in trade, and a 44-40 that I just bought offa Gunbroker. Used to have a brass frame military back in the '80s that was from Allen Arms but let it get away a long while back.
