Hello, Ladies and Gents;
Been a while since I was on the board, and it's good to be back, I must say.
I bought an Uberti Cattleman BH .45LC 4" barrel today, wonderful looking piece - get it home, and the basepin screw is missing from the front (It's an old-style frame, so the screw goes in the front of the pistol). Is this a screw I can get from a gunsmith, or am I going to have to go through the rigamarole of gettin' one from the Manufacturer?

thanks, in advance,

Sundown

Why, yes, I dress like this all the time. I feel very unencumbered like this, and it helps to conceal my pistols...

There should be a spare one in a little plastic bag underneath the "X area" of the carton.

Ya might wanna ask this question over in Gunsmithing.

All I did was name it 'n get it started. The posse made it great. A debt I can never repay. Thank you, mi amigos.

Or you could call up VTI gunparts. They are usually much easier to deal with for spare parts than the manufacturers.
That's bad business! How long do you think I'd stay in operation if it cost me money every time I pulled a job? If he'd pay me that much to stop robbing him, I'd stop robbing him.

Ya probably inherited every penny ya got!

I'll second Driftwood's idea.  Called this noon and they expedited getting my parts out this afternoon!  Real service!! ;D  Very helpful in finding the right thing too!
