Has Uberti stopped making the patterson?  I tried to order one a while back from midwayusa, but it was out of stock and never showed up again as in stock.  Also they no longer list it.  What's the deal?

Check Buffalo Arms.  They may have them in stock.

I was told last year by both Taylors and EMF that Uberti stopped making the Paterson due to lack of sales.  While I am sure it was never the most popluar gun they made, I personally think it belongs in everyones collection.  After all,  the Paterson is the Grandpa of all the rest of the guns we love to own and shoot.  There may still be a few floating around out there, but your best bet would be to find a used one somebody is willing to part with.  You might also email Uberti and ask them point blank if they have stopped making the Paterson.   Safe shooting.  Deadeye.

Will: was informed earlier this month by the German Uberti distributor that production of the Paterson has been discontinued last year. The last ones assembled were traditionally engraved, a few were cased.
I understand that Pietta is the other manufacturer doing a replica of the Paterson. This might be an alternative for you?
As DD pointed out every red blooded cowboy should have one!

It was my understanding it was to come to pass... We ordered some for "Into the West" in 05 and could not get them ..

I believe Palmetto has them....
when planets align...do the deal !

For once, isnt the Pietta version more historically accurate? Because it has a 9 inch barrel instead of 7 1/2.

I wasn't aware Pietta made a patterson?  If so where to get them?  I can't look up most gun or knife sites rite now, I'm on the rig and they've got to protect my pour innocent roughneck mind by filtering everything!  I know dixie had one, but I can't access them eigther.

Greetings!

DGW has it listed as #RHO600 ~ Texas Paterson @ $515; it's the same one that I bought seven or so years back. I still haven't shot it... Now that Finals are over, and my Range dues are current, I may just have to take it out.
I've been curious about the Cimarron Paterson {that they no longer carry} with the integral loading lever; they looked like they were very well finished revolvers.
Happy Hunting! There's got to be some out there that someone will make you a deal on, being a slow mover... !

   Be Well!

The Texas Paterson that Cimarron sold is the one that I have except it was distributed through EMF.  I doubt there was any difference between the Cimarron model and the EMF one.  Both made by Uberti.  Both no longer made by Uberti.  I still think the Paterson is a highly interesting firearm and well worth having in ones collection whether you shoot it or not.   I do wish someone (R and D) had made a conversion cylinder for it though.   Safe shooting  Deadeye.

Thanks, I'll check out the Pietta, should be pretty good with there new CNC machine works.  Wonder if the internals are as soft as I've come to expect from Pietta?

   Greetings DeadEye, et al!

An e-mail from Navy Arms confirms that the Paterson they sell with the integral loading lever is otherwise identical to the one displayed online. The prices look fair, too.

   Be Well!

Any Patersons made by Uberti that are still floating around out there are the last of their kind.  If you find one, you better grab it.
