Reluctantly, I might add.

Having not being able to find 32 RF ammo readily available I converted my '63 Pocket Model to CF.
It turned out pretty good.

Looks like a good firing pin, but I would be concerned about getting a primer in the face, can you get a backplate made with holes instead of slots?

Most originals I have seen that were converted to CF look just like this one does now. If there wasn't a recoil plate Then I'd be a bit concerned. If the primer can get out thru the slot in the recoil plate , past the hammer/firing pin and around the recoil shield of the frame then it'll be doing something fer sure. I know stranger thins have happened, but......
I'm more worried about a primer backing out and jaming the pistol, but with the Recoil Plate over all the cases I don't think that'll be a problem. This pistola has a stout mainspring that'll not allow hammer blowback.

Charlie, . . that's a real nice little pistol  :)
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

I'll be using FFG BP with a heeled (maybe Hollow based too)bullet and 32 Short Colt Brass I think. Haven't got yhe brass or bullets here yet I guess i'll fill the case to where I can compress the powder with the heeled bullet.
