Today, I unlimbered the 56-60 for the first time this year and shot some BP rounds at 50 yds. benched. Previously, I had never resized and only annealed once a year. I will now change that. The rounds that had not been annealed in a year and had not been resized were hard to extract. Those that had not been annealed in a year but had been resized were far easier to extract, although they had some blow back as well.  Hmmm. I think it's time to re-anneal all my cases AND resize. I really like the fact that my chamber is spacious as the resized rounds literally fall into the chamber and I shoot my bullets as cast after pan lubing. Never a speck of lead in this rifle.  ;)  If the "nut behind the butt" does his part my 56-50 Armisport will put 'em all into 1.5" at 50 yds. benched, although the sights are Stone Age.
