Howdy yall,

I'm not much for words on the forum but today I'm about to bust and I know all y'all are brothers in spirit.

My oldest boy, James (17) started his Eagle scout project Sat. 4/21. He's helping with the preparations for local National Cemetary 2007 Memorial Day ceremony. There are over 48000 flags to prepare before the ceremony honoring our Veterans. He and the group of volunteers he's recruiting got off to a good start and they prepared over of the 8000 grave flags today!

God Bless America!

Tiny,

You have every reason to be proud of your son's dedication and perseverance. I on our district's Eagle Board of Review and we get the chance to meet some of the finest young men in our country.

If you think you are proud of him now just wait until you see that Eagle badge pinned on his chest!!!

Hello All,

I thought some might like to read today's update (5 May 2007).

ALL 48000+ of the the veteran grave marking flags have been prepared for Memorial Day! The Scouts have done well in helping with my son's Eagle project. Don't believe the media disinformation about our youth, not all of them have lost sight of the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. Some know freedom isn't free.
