I been talking to Jerry aka Pitsptr and the match is sounding better and better every time.  Hope I don't have to play the part of Captain Fetterman again this year....we all know how that ended :o

We really feel like it will be a fun and unique shoot. As for a round count, figure a 5 stage 10-10-4 without the shotgun on a couple of stages. The side match is the GAF marksman qualification course, so you'd need 20 rounds for each weapon you plan to use. You might want to bring extra, as we may run an extra stage if we have time.

We got the framework for Fort Foolishman (Fetterman) done yesterday (4-3). My new boots & hat got here in the last month and my new officer's blouse will be done by the time for the shoot rolls around so I'm really looking forward to getting to play with some new toys.

BTW this isn't just another CAS shoot. with a tour of the restored 1874 army Fort Hartsuff, the meal by Delmonico, and the dance in the restored 1874 barracks we think there's something for everyone, even those who don't shoot. There's still time to get your registration in if you hurry. We're looking forward to getting to shoot with y'all!

Since I must have missed an announcement somewhere, please release any and all information about this shoot.  I couldn't get cell-phne reception in central Mexico so missed it.

Griz,
Bring what you got. If you don't have everything you need (or want) we/I have loaners. Don't worry too much about the details. The main thing we want is for you to have fun while you're here.
