Dai.S.Loe

New lady in my life.

New job.

Bought a property, 2 acres with two houses on it. One a 1950's NZ style Villa and the other a 2 bedroom cottage. The bank now has my by the privates til I am 80 years old and to the tune of 1/2 million dollars NZ. ANy of you comming to NZ just PM me and I have spare accomodation for a few days.

Took a break from CAS. Too much bitterness with my old club.

Back with a passion. Rusty as hell and slow as a wet week.

Girlfriend bought me one of those chinese 1887 lever shotguns for my 50th birthday. I think she is a keeper.

She has also been taking shooting lessons and just recently qualified for her pistol licence here in NZ.

She has decided to get involved in CAS here in NZ by hand tailoring costumes. She has made a few friends different items and has a few more orders from the last shoot we went on.  Paterns or links to such very welcome please.

As part of my break from CAS I indulged my other sport and partook of the pleasures of drag racing motorbikes.

MY best for the season was a 10.5 second run at 135mph. Love this adrenilin rush.

So to all who have missed me I say hello again. To those who havent, why not.

To those who have joined in the time I have been offline I say welcome and I look forward to talking with you.

People like me are the reason people like you have the right to bitch about people like me.

I thank you for remembering this prodigal son of the site.

I've been tied up with lots of other activities.

New property has a double garage with two workshops attached.

One to build a drag bike in and the other to turn into my gun room.

Field next door to the main house has a nice flat piece of land the finishes with 40ft cliff. about 75 yards long. The firing point is a rocky outcrop. I have been looking hard for somewhere I could get some plinking in.

There are also wild turkeys, pheasants, rabbits possums on the land and surrounding fields. Gotta talk to the locals and get permission to shoot over their property.

Moving date is 5th May.

I've missed you all but have taken a break for a while.

Probably more like both, Slim ;D ;D ;D
Yup.  First we'd need to drive to CA and the float the rest of the way.  However, if I'm going to NZ I think I'll take a plane.

Welcome back Dai.  I hope my next property will have enough land to support my own plinking.

If it can't be nice, eaten, make money, create comfort or provide real pleasure.........kill it or trade it in on new one!
