That's a big horse, Tom.

Slim

He's only 16.1 hands Slim, he's actually kinda small for a Draft cross, but he is just right for me!  My grandaughter prefers to ride on Elizabeth's horse, he is 15.2 hands and isn't quite as round as my boy.
If ya can't be fast it's good to be Lucky!

we've got a neighbor that used to have a draft horse, he used him for pulling logs up the mountains,  he was a little over 6 ft at the withers,  I rode him once, sure was a long way to the ground.

So they rolled a gasoline tanker over on the approach to the Bay Bridge this morning. Took out the overpass above it by melting the steel in it. It's the most widely used bridge in the San Francisco area. anyone commuting from one side of the bay to the other uses it. Or at least the DID use it. That'll mess up the commute up there for a while. Like it wasn't bad enough to just be part of that. http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/04/29/highway.collapse.ap/index.html?eref=rss_us

I have all my guns, ammunition and holsters ready for the 5-Dogs match next week. I'll get the motorhome loaded Wed and blow out of here on Thu. My wife has a dog thing to go to so she won't be going this time. Of course, I have a dog thing to go to also. 5 of them. ;D All that's left to get ready is everything else. :D
