Was down in the Hat Dept gettin' hat stiffner, overheard some lady askin' for a hat that won't blow off, rather than sayin', 'get one that fits" I grabbed the stiffner and left. ;D

Had some lady come in to my dept. yesterday, not good with words, looked around and blurted out, "why would anyone buy any of these clothes?"  I looked at her Old Navy shirt and said that I'd been to some place called Old navy and wondered the same. ;D

Anyway she is going to try to come to Rock Creek and check stuff out, as I figured she didn't really know about this kind of stuff. ;D

I wear Old Navy stuff in my real life.  I don't mind paying a little bit for something made in the far east instead of a lot for something made in the far east. ::)  But my personal rule is that the article must not "yell" Old Navy.  The only exception I make is their flag shirt which costs $5.00.  In that case I see it as though they reimburse me a little for the advertising. ;D

One of my customers thought a bounch of us should go over there and hang around in our outfits, pick stuff up, hold it up to us and say, "gawd this looks stupid, who would wear this?"  When the clerk comes over and asks what we're doing we'll just tell them "actin' like yer customers do when yer in our place." ;D
