I really didn't think they would either, but I don't know if I might have run over something and poked it or what happened,  It just whooshed and was gone.  at least it kept running straight down the road, at least till I could past those guard rails,

the jacking it up and changing the tire along side I-40 was the scary part. :o

I got enough ammo loaded fer tomorrow. Most things are gathered and ready fer the truck. Can't be a night owl tonight. Gotta get my beauty sleep.  ::)

Tomorrow we get to walk around San Juan Bautista to add "flavor" to the place. Historical duds and heeled. They're having an old west festival. Might even get in on some re-enactments. Then our match is Sun if it doesn't rain. Sun if we have Sun.  ;D

OT, glad to see your guardian angel was werkin' and kept you safe.  With that kind of a blowout one could lose control of the vehicle. :o

Thanks for the coffee.  Gonna be warm and sunny today.  Perfect weather for the first CAS shoot of the season.  But I won't be there.  I'll be at my daughters softball game and parade.

Yesterday I held one of the 1887 lever shotguns.  I had a hard time walking away. :'(

As much as I hate the cold and the wet, I'd never appreciate days like today without them.

Whew!  Good thing you're OK!

Hey, you should submit that picture to the folks at Tires Gone Wild.  I understand that they are always looking for models that are willing to remove a little. ;D

Pea Eye and I had some good talks when I was up there.  If you don't like what he learned, maybe you shouldn't have made me bunk with him. ;D

He didn't learn about the loose hair from me, though.  ...He must have been talking to TC about that. ::)
