Thanks Buck, been keepin' up with the recalls on the Lab board, we're ok so far.

Went to the farm today, had an errond to run, took Rowdy, he's pooped, he played and swam a bunch, just a little ice on the edges. ;D  Got about 45 and was durn windy.  We had our first encounter with deer to day, a bunch of about 6-7 came out of the brush right under his nose, he chased about 15-20 yards and came back when I scoldin' him.  Left the rabbits alone, he may make it yet as a bird dog.

Had a bunch of Hornets flyin' around for a while, now I need to load again.  Ain't nuthin' more relaxin' than a couple boxes of 22 Hornets down range.  It ain't been shot since GG used it in 2005 on Prairie Poodles and wookchucks.  It still shoots where it looks.

Brother bought a Ruger M-77 in 220 Swift he was playin' with, had a feed problem though, was wonderin' if I knew what was wrong or should he send it back to Ruger.  Told him I would think about it, he went to get some more ammo and I "fixed" it while he was gone.  Told him to try it, thing fed fine, wanted to know what I did.  Told him I just loaded it right. ;D  Each round slighly forward of the last so the rim don't catch. ::)

The bottle has the formula for the AA Feather Lite loads printed right on the label. I'll be trying it some to see how it works. I'll let you know after I try some. I don't have the right wads for it, so I may be loading some of the other ones until I get the correct wads.

No, it's this:

AA hull, WAA12SL wad, Win 209 primer, 26 grams shot (.91 oz), 12.0 gr Winchester AA Feather Lite powder, Vel: 980 fps

That duplicates the factory AA Feather Lite loads that have been discontinued.

They just released it. I think it's from Hodgden although it has the Winchester logo on it.

I tried to get a copy of it, but it didn't work out. I assume you found it by following the procedure?

Slim, I took a pictue of our pair today and the red Massey-Ferguson was made in Racine.  Brother said they also had a factory at Detroit and he thought at least one in Camada.

Our 1948 TE-20 back about 15 years ago was in the top 10 of Ferguson tractors in the US that still worked for a living as opposed to being restored trailer queens, top 5 got prizes when they had some thing involved with them.  Yep here it is out workin'.

The light colored is a feed plot the red one shredded earlier in the day.

we could use some extra rain,  it's been pretty dry the last month, we're gonna need a little rain and warm weather to try to get everything back to normal after this cold week.

you can really see the signs of cold on the leaves that were coming out on the trees,  some of em have just turned black and dropped off,  those will have to start all over.

Apple tree looks a bit burnt and the peach tree never had a chance  :(

On the other hand, the azaleas are still blooming and looking great.

Hope that you get all the rain you need OT, don't worry 'bout leavin' none for us, we can catch up next week.  ;)
