Too cold fer this dang bum peg again. It's 18 here, no snow on the ground, but the talking heads are saying we may have some on the ground by tomorrow.

23 here this morning, clear with no wind, supposed to be a clear, sun shinning day but only 40 for a high

looks like this freezing may get some of the peaches around here. haven't heard anything about the wine grapes.

Well Slim's Wisconsin dandruff iz fallin steady here in Norfolk, and the temperature is dropping. Weather heads are talking an inch or more accumulation. There's more snow collected on the ground and cars thatn there has been all winter. I wish Al Gore would drive by so I could throw a ball of this Global Warming at him! Guess I'll go load some more ammo for Roundup!

Weird, huh. Yesterday's home opener for the Indians was called after 4 innings plus two outs and two strikes because of snow. It was coming down so hard that the batters couldn't see the ball...............Buck

Had a couple bands of snow both threw this morning, it's starting to melt off though now. Slim's weather map doesn't look encouraging.......... Work in the "cave" this afternoon. Lunch first Pinto's and ham cornbread........

Howdy, pards. Thanks for the coffee. We didn't make it to the dog races. Too much possibility of rain to drive 3 or 4 hours just to find out we'd have to turn around and drive another 3-4 to get home and the dogs wouldn't even have had their fun.

I agree with you that the whole thing is blown way out of proportion. Every day we have two or three spots on the news about global warming. They're inundating us with it here in CA. There is one good thing coming from the panic mode, we're getting more efficient vehicles to drive so we don't have to buy as much $3.50/gal gas from a bunch of irritating foreigners. I see at least one hybrid vehicle every mile I drive these days.
