Gemstone, my adopted niece, is gettin' ready for another prom.  Seein' 'er all dressed just breaks yer heart.

My 21 year old spent the weekend, with her boyfriend, over in Radford.

That sounds like great fun. the hardest part, no doubt, is finding anyone that can run 300-500 yds in the heat.

Well I'll be stuck in class all week.  The nicest weather we have had to date and I'll be listening to an instructor drone on about Visual Basic.NET Oh well someone has to suffer for the good of the many!

Howdy, y'all. I survived my first day of manual labor. Spent the whole day pullin' rotted fiberboard lap siding offa a house and garage. Tomorrow will be replacing the siding. I need a nap.
